In Concrete that is.... Just got word that the strip will be getting rid of the asphalt in a few weeks, and putting down concrete. Should be awsome when done, and give a better pad for the big dawgs to play. Would be nice if they could bring in a few more big races, with the new surface.

I herd the full 1320, plus possibly re working the timing system at the same time. It's nice to see Them finally dropping some coin to bring a great strip back to life.

Good deal...It seems they already reworked the MPH clocks sometime between 7-09 and 7-11, our trap speeds were considerably different...

Yeah I noticed that as well, my mph was off by almost 5mph. Can't wait to put some rubber down with your old tires when it opens. Shooting to have the Drag Truck done by Feb., picking up the XP5 next week!

Yep same here, 5-6 MPH slower this year...Good luck getting to the track in Feb., hope it works out...We won't be up there until Summer...
