What truck was yours? Are you a 4x4 or 2wd?

Yup I saw ya..... I left that card on your truck in case you were lookin for some tuning. Your truck sounds pretty good. I've seen ya around ASU.


I ran a 14 flat. I wanted to break the 13 mark soo bad but my fuel filter was cuttin off my fuel supply on the top end.


Hope I didnt bother ya by puttin that card on your truck

thanks, there are some quick trucks around sa. 14s are pretty quick i tried building boost first run but just spun alot! i want to get efi live and start tuning

Ya there are some quick trucks around town.....I dont know if you saw Larry Jewell run but his truck is nicee and makes some great power.


Ya i saw your first run and you spun quite a bit. But 4x4 helps alot with that. I was having some major problems trying to get my truck to hook too. I had some bad wheel hop..... Once you get EFI Live youll love it. The power is great.


Is your truck an lbz?

Ya once I lowered the pressure in my tires the wheel hop went away.


Ohh ok I was just checkin.


Larry let out because he spun so bad so I dont know what his time was. You should have seen his fenders and everything. It was all covereddd in rubber

i got out there a little late who won the poll?

Well if we are counting Jeff and Tyler using the slicks then they tied. Im not sure what they ran on street tires though. Out of the poll I could have possibly have won if we are counting street tires. But Idk

How did Larry do?

He spun pretty bad so he had to back out of it before it got out of hand. Im not sure what the times actually ended up being though.

my first pass I ran a 13.88 (in the 1/8 mile :rofl:) I let out before I slid into the wall and coasted the rest of the track. I think theres a video, not sure how good but i'll post when my son wakes up.

I lowered the tire pressure for the 2nd run, I didnt do much better, I ended up spinning thru 2nd and 3rd before letting out and ended up with a 15.88 @ 97 mph, this was feathering the launch with a 2.6 60' :eek:


I hit the beer cooler after this one :D

Tyler and Jeff both did good with the slicks, I'm not sure of the final results, I do remember Jeff hitting a 13.1 and Tyler a 13.2, but these were early runs.

Here's a log of the kiss the wall run :D This log shows the hesitation i've been complaining about, it took the truck from approximately 1600 rpms to a little over 2000 rpms to get to 100mm3 of fuel at 100% throttle, shortly after getting full fuel is where the vss gets to 96mph but notice when I let out of it i'm moving around 39 mph. I've got rubber plastered all over the rear fenders and fender well :confused: This is a similar situation that resulted in my transmission making a trip to California earlier this year, guess i'm lucky I let out of it early this time :eek:

I'm seeing slicks in my future :happy2:

I talked to Tyler afterwards and he said he pulled off a 13.1 so they both did 13.1 with the slicks.
