Need to know the best s4XX turbo for a twin setup. s480 is what i would like and is a ball bearing a must? i would like it but do i need it or what do most run? what a/r to run? im thinking 1.10. any help would be grwat. thanks.

480 for sure with the 66. 1.32ar (no need to gate). Journal bearing is fine. Whats your goals for the truck?
Mainly just use the power I have now and keep egt's in check, not that they are bad but i think now that i'm shifting at a higher rpm maybe the 66 is not flowing enough. and also need a twinned rig to do testing and see what oils temps will be like and this is the perfect time of year to do so. so where is the best place to buy this turbo and i want it to have the vband outlet ont he comp housing. Can i spool it with stock fuel?
You can spool it with stock fuel decently. Forcedinductions.com has em for a good price. Call and talk to Jose
Make sure they have one available at purchase... I think Ben waited a retarded amount of time for his to show. I know he got pretty pissed at them.
It will spool just fine on stock fuel.

You may try getting on CompD and watching the for sale section. A lot of badass hardly used turbo's pop up for sale everyday over there. Might be able to get a really good deal.
I wouldn't mind buy a good used turbo but if you do I would have the guy you buy it from ship right to 1 of the turbo builders like Mark or industrial and have it completely gone thru the last thing you want is someone else's problem.Just my .02
