My hot side rubs the top of my fire wall when I do 4x launches its only got about 1/8 inch room until it rubs. I've bolted the motor mount already and still does it. Any advice on how to stop it from touching the fire wall?

Your hot side I/c pipe hits cowl? Or the exhaust housing hits? I had to massage bottom of cowl to fit a 1.25 housing, but a 1.0 and 1.10 fit fine. Not even close to hitting cowl/firewall with discharge pipe.

I know this truck. To dent the firewall any more we'll have to take the turbine housing off. That would be fine except when we tried one of the bolts from the housing to the pedestal started seizing up. It was all we could do to tighten it back down. Now it'll break or stay in. No 2 ways about it. Those damn hot side bolts can be a nightmare.
Is it possible to wedge a board in between the hosing and cowl and then kinda rock the motor by power braking it. sometimes that will give you the extra clearance you need.

Through in some MA motor mounts and I doubt your engine will ever move again.What else did you see while you were there

He's only got 1/8 of play. Would ma mounts even help??
