s475 install

so im tryin to get some ideas. i am puttin in my new s475 and wanted some ideas on one were to get the flange to weld up to my intercooler pipe so i can connect to the compressor outlet. and also what did everyone use to connect to the intake side. this thing is a monster compared to my old htt promax. lol
also does it matter for the oil supply location.?? does the oil supply port by the oil filter housing work any better than the one in the valley that the stock turbos use or are they both equal???

For the compressor outlet flange racepartsolutions.com has them. On the intake side I would probably look into getting one of Trents full 5 inch systems. I always pull oil from the passenger side of the block at the front there is a oil galley plug. Can't remember the thread pitch off hand but if you can find that race parts will have that also

i pull oil from the stock location and have a PPE install kit. I made a 3 inch driver side hot pipe. I got all my silicone boots from www.racepartssolutions.com

Is it a race cover or standard cover? Just like Josh I pull oil from the passenger side galley

its a race cover. pass. side galley?? i used the driver side oil feed by the filter for my htt but this ppe kit i got looks like it utilizes the stock valley feed. thanks for all the info.

Mines pulled from the passenger side, on one of the oil ports on the block...not sure if this is the valley that paint is talking about??.....

I would not use the stock locating for oil... PPE's kits are designed to work with a Garrett Ball Bearing turbo which is watercooled... they do not required any where near the oil supply that a journal bearing charger does. The filter housing galley I'm sure will do just fine

Yeah but now the problem is I have a oil line that only reaches the valley. Now I have to buy another one I guess

Thread for oil galley is 14x1.5 thread for cam journal is 12x1.5
