I am about to get me a turbo and wanted to know what people think about either the S463 or the s466. Is there anyone running one of these turbos? How is the lag on them and what is the reliability of these on your truck.

I would imagine they would both be a bit laggy compared to their 300 framed counterparts but would flow well.

reliability shouldnt be a problem.

what is your rational for going with a s400 vs s300?

I think either of those would be a great streetable charger, but its gonna depend greatly on the exhaust side wheel size and housing size. The 63 would be 2.5 pulling class-legal. The 66 would only be legal in 2.6 and up.(if your gonna pull)

Whoever you get your turbo from make sure you mention you want to pull so the specs are exact. I got my S366 from HTT but when Clint from ATS/NSPA here in Colorado went to tech my truck the compressor housing was like a half millimeter too big. So I had to run in the 3.0 class...

Usually A 66 isn't a 2.6 legal charger. A 65 should pass for 2.6 if we're talking off the shelf chargers.
