so im upgrading my exhaust in the very near future. (still running a partial 3 1/2") and i'm curious as to the size of an s475/480 downpipe so i will know whether to get a 4" or just get a 5" as i plan on somewhere down the road running twins on the truck.

thanks

can't fit 5" downpipe from S480 on stock turbo. IIRC Cheetah is coming out with 4" for stock turbo, but I havent heard much. Maybe brayden will jump in.

The t6's are a 5" outlet, which is probably what you'd have if you went with twins. That doesn't mean you have to use 5" all the way though, you can reduce it down to 4" or cut and weld a 4" v-band flange to the housing.

thanks guys thats what i meant so i don't need to reduce it down the line to 4"

might as well just get the 5" so its there in the future if needed

The aftermarket 5" exhausts still use a 4" frontpipe, you'll need to plumb in a 5" frontpipe at the same time to make it a true 5".
