Now that I have built twins I have been pondering on something to try out once I pull the engine for a build. So as of now I am just get thoughts gathered. Would three S366's work in a triple set up or would the 2 s366's be to large for the single s366 to spool? Would two S360's over a S366 work better? I'm wanting to be able to see 1000hp+ with this truck after engine build and that is my only goal I'm really wanting to achieve.

Triple S366 will work and there has been several sets out there, as well as a S366-S360 and S366-S256. Most people will run a S472 or S475 instead of the S366 up top when doing S360 or S366 as atmospheric turbos.

If you are going to do it go the s400 up top and not a s300 series charger. You will be glad you went that way in the end.

My buddy has 2 s360's feeding into a billet s366. Works well and he has done 1082 horse with it. Like stated, I would deffinately run an s400 on top instead of an s300.

Maryland Diesel is putting two s367fmw turbos with an s467fmw on their new 6.7 powerstroke race truck. Should be interesting.

Ever since this thread started I've been thinking something like that would be an awesome setup.

I'm thinking about changing to a 467 to help spool up. Then maybe adding two 360s later. I want something that is good on the street and can tow but still make big hp.

I would go with something bigger than 360's. 366's would give you a lot more power potential.
I agree but my only concern is lag. If I don't like how laggy my 72/83 .9 is, I can't imagine it being any better adding two more good size turbos. But I still have a lot to learn. I'm not looking for 1000 hp. I would be happy with 800 if it spooled fast, low egts, and I could tow a good size load (10-15k) without any trouble.

It's really the high pressure turbo that's going to have the biggest impact on lag, I don't think initial spool up will change much between 360's and 366's.

If you want instant spool wouldn't some 256 and maybe a 367.7 be capable of 800+? I could be wrong but I believe someone was running a similar setup. 1000 might be out of the 256s map though.
