S&B filter: new filter or clean?

I know these are supposed to be lifetime but mine just doesn't look as good as it could.last time I used the Autozone spectre cleaning junk. Probably is my issue. Should I clean it with a better product or just order something new and maybe better?

I have had k&n before and all I cleaned it with was dish detergent. Worked great.

I just use dish soap and a sink with my S&B. Works great, just takes forever to dry.

Step up to the K&N oil. I doubt the spectra stuff is as good but I could be wrong...
