Rust inside injectors?

So I got a email back from DDP on the injectors I sent them they say are full of rust, and all need to be replaced. Can they be rebuilt? They said that they could replace the tips and run them through the machine and see if they passed, not sure what that part is but they still wouldn't recommend using them.

So I can deal with these or get the injectors off the truck motor that cracked a piston and send them in and have them checked out. The question on these are the quality the guy I bought the truck from said they had been replaced once and im sure it was as cheap as possible so who knows what type or condition the ones we have been driving on are in. Not sure what to do next.

Thoughts?

Good choice. Can't go wrong with LDS. If you would fill out your signature it'd help everyone know a little more back info on what you're experiencing.

Looks like a pretty sweet build. I don't know much about kodiaks but I'm assuming LBZ? Which cp3 are you using? While you're there you might as well replace it or upgrade if you have the extra money. I did mine while my motor was apart just because I didn't want to put it back together and 10k down the road it bomb on me and back apart she comes. I'm very pleased with the SuperSport pump from LDS as well. Very affordable mild upgrade IMO

Yeah I thought about that for sure, I just figured the one with only 73k should be good. It just came out of an RV Kodiak bone stock. Its just been sitting for a while didn't find anything in it, the one on the truck has about the same miles on it from what the service history shows.

How is your Fass hooked up?

As far as I know its working off the stock Kodiak pickup and then going up to the engine via a -8 fuel line. The previous owner deleted the upper filter housing and it just goes right into the supply. I haven't torn into the broken motor yet we just got it to the shop today. I had planned on the new motor using the OEM housing with a FASS filter eliminator. Right now I see 9/11 psi on the fuel pressure gauge.
