I’m loosing my mind. Just put LDS Reman injectors in the truck new high pressure lines and all. Now it is running extremely rough like it’s missing but when I rev it up to about 15k it evens out. It is throwing a ton of codes the first 6 are p0193, 484D, 5258, 5e64, 6a70, 767c. I dont know what to do. The first code seems to be a pressure issue. I have a lift pump and I let it run for a couple minutes after everything was hooked back up before I started it for the first time. Maybe I didn’t get all the air out of the system. Please help.

Check the plug on the fuel pressure regulator for the p0193 code.

What are you scanning the codes with? Is it a ppe by any chance? Reason I ask is my ppe will show like 40 gibberish codes after the real code.

X2, that sounds like the fuel pressure regulator didn't get plugged all the way back in. Unplug it and re-plug it, listen for the satisfying "click" as it goes in. If that is unplugged, the fuel pressure maxes out, and the engine idles like ass.

Hopefully that's all it is!

I’m using my ats tuner.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I am going to dig a little further into the fpr plug. Is there a way to test the regulator?

Wish it woulda been that easy for me. Before I realized it I had already driven it to a shop to have it necked out and everything. Ah the dumb years. Glad you got it fixed :thumb:

I’m happy to say I fixed one problem now it’s on to the next. I was driving the truck and I started seeing a white smoke behind the truck. Long story short it looks like it’s spraying fuel everywhere on passenger side it looks to maybe be the fuel filter or the rail side of the high pressure lines. But when it’s running it dumps fuel everywhere and fast.

I would check the injector lines at the rail. I've had one rattle loose and another because I didn't tighten it enough. Same symptoms you are having diesel everywhere and spraying a fine mist that looked like smoke. Its hard to see it at idle with the low rail pressure, I stood back and had someone rev the engine up to find it but you could also bump up rail pressure with efi live when idling it.

I found the leak it was my #6 high pressure line at the line side. It just needed to be re seated a couple times and knock on wood it’s ok now.
