Most of us here already frown on the people who do that kind of crap on public roads.

During competition is another story, though.

I recall a member here who is part of the whole diesel bros show saying there show wouldn't bring any negative attention, it would just be overlooked and written off as entertainment. How's that working out as this is the 3rd article I've read directly citing there show and coal rolling.

I met a kid who works for the diesel bro's last weekend. I asked him about negative attention they are bringing. He pretty much replied with a "we don't give a sh*t." .

Nick used to have a tutorial on his website on how to make a smoke tune for LB7/LLY. This was years ago though, probably took it down sometime around 2010.

It's so funny to see changes in the diesel community over the years. Back in the earlier days everyone was doing it. Hell, I remember Nick had a video showing you how to adjust the maf in your tune to make soot, lol. Now it's verboten and the hammer of Thor comes down on your pee-pee if you even talk about making a puff. It's true I guess, there's nothing like a reformed smoker,Hahahahaha.

Fwiw, I haven't had a soot tune since around 2009. I grew up too. My biggest worry now is that my tunes are aggressive and I puff a bit before the charger lights or if I lean on it to change lanes on the highway. I don't want some NJ cop to pop his soot cherry on me and I get a $5,000 fine!

I actually put a much smaller tune on my reg cab because I was sick of the little bit of smoke I had down low.

I've talking with Dave (Heavy D) and hes always been a great guy towards me. Doesn't mean they don't do stupid shit I guess

Rolling coal and being an idiot teenager with a beat ass diesel truck seem to go hand in hand these days around me. Stack, or giant exhaust tip are optional.

IMO, since I got my truck like 4-5 years ago diesels have become the new ricers.

Lmao same way around here with old 7.3s and 12 valves. I swear some kid has a 55 gallon drum in the bed as a stack.

Yep, one of the main reasons I don't want anything to do with this hobby anymore...

Had a 95-97 f-350 behind me on the way to town, he literally pumped the throttle for ten miles blowing smoke. I stopped on hinkleville straight and blowed the tires of to third gear while not blowing any smoke out the tail pipe, and I didn't see him again.
Dumb shits getting way too common here now as well.

TX of course
Not really a problem here in the big cities that I have seen. In the smaller towns I see more of it.

I missed my smoke tune today. This thug pulled up next to my exhaust bumping his getto trash. Not that I mind a big stereo, but his junker was rattling like crazy. With a stereo worth 10x what his pile was worth.
