So I was told by a guy with a lmm that he gets 24mpg towing a 24ft enclosed trailer loaded. Has robs basic tunes and a exhaust. Is he full of crap or?

Granted, Rob is a great tuner....but this sounds like another person who reads the DIC and thinks its accurate instead of hand-calculating his mileage. Meh.

It might, if he's supplementing with another fuel source. You'd think people would realize the dic isn't accurate when you're fueling up every 250mi lol

Swears he hand calculated it, gets 20 mpg in town beating on it. I said he's full of it but a few others feed right into it.

Agreed. How do people not recognize they are only getting 250 miles out 25 gallons of fuel...sure that equals 24mpg...lol

Ask him how many miles he gets out of a tank while towing, that'll tell you if he's a liar.

Hell I have to fuel up at 320mi just towing my rzr, let alone a 24ft trailer

I wish I could go 320 on a tank just in general. My light comes on around the 270 mark. My truck has never seen better than 13-14.5mpg unloaded.

Only one time have I ever gotten that mileage and I can tell you the conditions were perfect, I went 500 miles before filling up and put in about 21 gallons. I was unloaded with a tailwind on the flattest road ever cruising at 70. I have never been able to come close, my average highway mileage is 19-21 and I never check city because it's always 90% throttle or idle :D

The fact that the guy said he did it towing is absolutely beyone lying its just insanity.

I've gotten 24.5 once testing an economy tune out for Dustin. Unloaded, 55 mph, set the cruise and drove 50 miles, stopped and filled back up. It is possible but the conditions were not what you'd normally see. Daily driving on the same tune I'd get around 20. Throw a loaf of bread in the back and get 19 lol.

Yea around here if you're driving 55mph there's hills involved. Best I got was 22.6 running 70mph from Ohio to IN, on 265 tires. It will do 20 all day hwy if you keep it under 75.

Towing is kind of depressing though, hook anything to it with a front that pushes wind and you're lucky to get 17 unloaded LOL

I did 24 mpg, unloaded 55 mph for an entire tank in my lb7. My highway is usually around 20mpg at 70mph and town (country roads) is 17.

Well I can go over 700 miles without needing to fill up, and could push 800 if I was feeling froggy. The catch is I have a 42 gallon tank. I've known guys like this who swear they get 20 or better, but every 200 miles there filling up towing. Had one guy say straight to my face he was getting 16 and swore by it, but he was putting 22 gallons in every 200 miles.
