Right rear wheel heating

2005 Silverado lly duramax Allison crew cab long bed Lt 224,000 miles .New hydro boost, master cylinder,all new brake lines/ fliud and brand new calipers in the rear. The right rear wheel heating up when towing my Landmark Rushmore fifth wheel. Also have new fluid in the rear end, transfer case front differentials transmission. Looking for input.
Hopefully I put this in the right category.

You say calipers on the rear so I'm assuming it has disc brakes on the rear. The parking brake shoe may have came apart or needs adjusting.

Will the one wheel spin free with the rear axle up in the air... Can you push open the caliper piston easily. If neither of those I'd be going straight to the parking brake, I've had so many parking brake problems with my truck I ended up removing the entire system from pedal to shoes.

I've thought about doing that but my driveway has a hell of an incline and I'd feel bad for the trans haha.

OP I'd be looking at shoes/hardware/maybe seals if the caliper proves fine

Caliper is junk. I’ve had bad ones straight outta the box. I’m so sick of replacing calipers I just them stick until it grinds the rotor to nothing. My back wheel gets so hot you can’t touch it. :rofl:

This, works great unless it's your explorer, if that's the case it won't pull itself downhill, so you have to change it.
