Allison 5sp: Revs right before shift w/ harsh shifts.

Im experiencing a harsh shift in my truck and the only thing weird that i can point out is that it revs about 200rpms right before it shifts each time.

Not sure what other info i can give besides that. The shift feels like a clunk everytime and jerks the truck pretty badly.

SCIV w/ ATS 5 Star installed.

Running a ~500 HP tune.

TCM tuning was stock, then it was reccomended that I change the D5169 tables in the TCM (from 2600rpm upward), but it shifts exactly the same...

whos tunning are you running, compared to what most people think, most of shifting issues are ecm tuning related

Put the tcm back to stock totally. And yeh who's tuning you running?

How long have you been running a built trans? If you just installed it or refreshed it, it will need to learn.

It's been on for at least 6k.

I vote ECM tuning.
