Long story short I bought a LLY very cheap with a serious knock. I took a bit of a gamble and was hopeful it just trashed the crank or maybe a rod or two, but turns out it damaged a main journal. Line boring and billet caps was out of the question so I pulled the plug on the motor (I parted everything out and did really well) Then I went hunting for a running engine and got a smashed LBZ.
The question is, to my surprise the engine had ARP studs installed when I bought it and I held on to them for my new LBZ. I understand they are not torque to yield but should I have any concern using them? I'm sure they are fine just not knowing the history of them or the motor made me second guess myself
