I know the thread that hes talking about and I can't find it either.. Its the test where you run the return lines into cups and then measure the fuel in them.. I think RLD or 05lly2500 had a thread on it but I searched both usernames and couldn't come up with it either

Kent-Moore makes a kit but you can use any graduated cup/glass that's in ml/cc's. Check return while cranking the engine but disconnecting the FICM or IGN fuse to prevent starting the engine. You should crank in 15 sec. intervals and see if you have any return. There really shouldn't be any unless there is a problem. GM specs are no more than 8cc's I think.

Nick,
Did you ever find the test specs for this? I have everything hooked up now just trying to find specs and a procedure...

unhook FICM wiring, crank the starter for 15 seconds.

Spec fuel return rate is less than 4 milliliters (ml) per injector, 12 ml per side.

Hmm, didn't get much of anything just cranking... I started it and let it idle between 15-20 seconds. #4 returned 46ml & #1 52ml, the rest were 4-5ml. Pretty sure I need 2 injectors. Pieces off crap only have 10,000 miles on new bosch injectors.

It was the stock filter. After I installed Abby's transmission, I put a bigger tune in. That's when I found my rail problems.

I built the cat filter setup & lift pump thinking I was starving the cp3...

#4 was the injector that had gotten stuck from the dealership leaving a chunk of carbon in the injector hole. I really worked that injector over trying to get it out, so that one made sense.

I'm used to it by now it never ends with these things.
