Reset HVAC

How do you go about doing this. New batteries and now the hvac controls arent working. Blows out the defrost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know this sounds stupid, but check the big fuse under the fuse box under the hood. My buddy's truck was doing the same thing, blowing air out of the wrong place. Changed the fuse which was blown now all is good.

Defrost is the default failsafe mode if something or everything fails. Auto or manual HVAC?

Manual. Acted up after changing batteries. Was all good before that.

Unhook batteries again. When you hook them back up turn the key to acc on for a couple of minutes. Then see what it does. Usually that straightens it out
