Reroute fuel line?

I have deleted my oem fuel head, I have a buddy with a Lbz that rerouted his fuel line from his lift pump straight to the cp3 instead of going through the metal lines to the stock head then into the cp3. Can you do the same for the lb7? If so I'm going to try it so I can get straight fuel to my cp3 instead of running across the top of the hot block to go over to the old head then back over it again to the cp3. Thanks in advance yall

Lb7 uses fuel through the ficm to cool it I think. You got more info on how your buddy did it on his lbz? I'm wanting to also so this.

On a lbz just go straight from lift pump to cp3. Will need to reduce line size right before cp3. Can do the same with lb7. They do use fuel to cool ficm but many have bypassed it like myself with 0 issues

If you run a 1/2" cp3 inlet fitting would you have to reduce at all? Curious as it'd be super clean to run straight to the cp3 feed with 1/2" from the lift pump. And just run returns

Nope that's what I'm going to do except I have to split it since I have dual cp3. Your lift pump outlet is 1/2"

Damnit...I should've just deleted more stuff under the hood and made it cleaner. I could've save $$$ on the dhd crap and the filter head crap as well

Yea. I best leave it alone for a while. Things been down almost 3 months this go round. I'll do that maybe before winter. Better question though...how to keep lift pump warm for cold weather? I run howes so it "shouldn't" gel and never had an issue on it last winter but I'm curious if there is a way to keep the Air dogs warm

Honestly I've only had my airdog filters gel once in the last 4 years and that was sitting in the wind all night in -20 on a rig location and they were about ready for a change. The truck sat outside, on rig locations, man camps and never had an issue.

Well Yea cuz #1 is best if it's that cold but wasn't sure if there was a way to warm the pump area similar to the FASS or if that's wishful thinking

I got mine from Tony @ DHD, cuz he is a site vendor n all...
Nice piece, ended up not using it...Ive still got it sitting in my garage NIB if ya want it

I deleted ALL the factory lines (feed and return) and am running a Magnafuel distribution block for the return system...

As stated earlier, the lift pump feed line should be able to make it into your engine bay, on an LBZ it actually makes it to the quick disconnect point by the GPCM at the back of the DS valve cover...and you can just click it in and tour done

I didnt use the factory connection point and opted to get a barbed/quick disconnet fitting straight from FASS, pn# 1212... Right off that connection I T'd a pressure gauge in and used a stepped brass T fitting and at that point reduced to the 3/8" line for the last 12" before the CP3
