cool, very nice :thumb:

no offence but whats the point/advantage over the current dmax twin setups? Maybe quicker spoolup I guess, but when we are drag racing or sled pulling we never are below ~2500rpm...

the way i think about it is that the more power you are making, the way that is easiest for the engine to produce it is best, i can only imagine how fast this will spool and how cool it will run....all being better for the motor's reliability

Even if it works out to be pretty much equal to twin setup, I think its still very cool and is very different. I like when things are different than the norm.

Looks cool, keep us updated :thumb:

Think of it in an engineering aspect.......Most compound setups run a low pressure charger like a Gt4718 or a Gt5533.....the 4718 only runs around 135 pounds per minute of airflow and the 5533 runs about 153 pounds per minute.
To make 1500 horsepower in a duramax engine you must have at least 209 pounds per minute of air and the 4718 and the 5533 do not meet these requirements. The low pressure chargers I have chosen for each side have a combined pound per minute flow of about 190 pounds per minute which will always create more horse than the 153 pound per minute flow of the bigger 5533
