Would I be OK to run just my cp3s off of the serpentine belt I want to take all the accessoriesoff of the front to lighten the front so pretty much I would just have the crank pulley and the cp3 pulley also I was going to run an Allison but I've read that it may shift to slow for what I want is there any other options like a 4l80e?th400?4r100? Thank you for any help

I run the 4r100 built by BTS with a PCS and love it on the street. If you're going to stay under 900hp at the rear wheels it works great at the track. I have been having a lot of problems with the converter. I'm having a converter built right now by a new company and they say it will hold all the power I can put to it. I should have it on Tuesday and will try it out this coming up weekend if I can find a track still open by me.

i was thinking about the 4r100 as well i would like to stay around 850ish but i know how that goes i will want to turn it up so i want to get something to hold it the first time

The th400 will be the strongest but doesn't have an overdrive and if your racing any 1/4 mile tracks you will need overdrive.
I have high hopes for this new converter I'm getting.

Race weight I'm going for between 3000 and 3500

I think at that weight you would be fine using a 4r100. Is it going to be street/strip?

Mostly strip it may occasionally see the street but not very much
