Something is wrong. None of those parts should make it bind up.

What brand parts and who installed?

I did the replacements not my first time btw, lol and there GM parts from the dealer, me and my buddy figured out that it's a possibility the previous owner decided to have one of his backyard mechanic buddy's fix it without replacing the parts, this is where dickin with the steering box came into play. They must have tightend the steering box up to take the play out instead of replacing the parts so therefore when I put the new solid parts in it was way to much. Make sense? Tell me if I may be wrong but I had see some other post's where this had happened. Thanks guys
