It only took me 5 years to finally do a stereo upgrade and it was well worth it. I replaced the factory head unit with a 2 Din Alpine unit (CDE-W235BT). This unit has the advanced bluetooth feature, which enables you to place and receive phone calls, and stream music from your I-Phone wirelessly. I replaced all 4 door speakers with new 6 3/4" Alpine component speakers (SPS-610C). I installed the tweeters in the upper portion of the door panel, which required a 2" hole bit. Powering the components, I'm using an Alpine 4 channel amp (MRV-F345), which is rated at 75 watts per channel. I ran all new speaker wire from the amp to each door. For a subwoofer, I went with JL Audio's 8", 4-ohm ported sub enclosure (CP108LG-W3v3). This sub is rated at 250 watts. Powering the sub, I'm using an Alpine mono power amplifier (MRP-M500), which at a 4-ohm load is rated at 300 watts. I've had two 10" subs before and this 8" sounds just as good and it fits underneath the back seat. I bought everything through Crutchfield and spent 3 days putting everything in.
