LBZ: Replaced #3 injector no start???

Ok just replaced #3 injector now it just cranks and cranks, wants to start, building over 1k of rail pressure while turning over, but doesn't start, just smokes alittle, I have a airdog liftpump , also removed the stock fuel filter housing, so I can't prime it manually.. Any ideas

Spray a little dab of starting fluid on the air filter

Not sure if that's the case, put the old one back In and it started right up, so I'm getting a different injector overnighted to me, this one Is obviously faulty, no big deal, it happens.

The injector needs to be programed to the ecm with a tech2 on the 06 and newer. sometimes you can get away without having to do that

I just put the injector in, and it drives perfectly.. Good balance rate aswell. So I'm assuming I don't need to program it?
