Is it possible to remove the shroud (upper part that covers the ignition switch and has the hazard light button on it)on the steering column on a 2004 without removing the steering wheel/airbag? I have a project in mind, but need to pop that cover to see if it would work. I don't want to remove the wheel, but I do need to get that cover off.
Thanks.

Thanks guys.
Henry, that is probably a bit more than I need. I just want to take pieces one and two off, that's it. Looks like a couple screws, pull the tilt lever out, and work the top piece off?
Is there anything else I'm missing? Or is it really that simple?

Ted I figured I would post show you that and you see were everything is, you do not have to take it all apart lol, been awhile but I dont think there is a screw even holding it just pops apart. edit yes 2 screws on bottom.

Yeah, I realized I didn't have to take it all apart. I just wanted to make sure that it popped off, and also if there were any tricks to it.
Thanks, I'll play with it tomorrow.
