relearn turbo?

A friend has a 06 lbz all stock he said it threw a code and was acting wicked doggy then it would come to life with alot of soot. He plugged it in and the code said it needed to relearn to turbo any ideas on what it means or how to fix it???

Relearn means it needs to cycle the vains and allow the vain pos. sensor to read the vane position and calibrate itself. I had a similar issue when I put a lbz charger on my lly. The relearn didn't do anything, I ended up having a bad vane pos. sensor
