Anyone cut off the cross member on the bottom of the frame where it humps up by the fuel tank. Seems pointless when the torsion bar cross member is right above it.

Your correct on the sway bar . It is hollow. I did it to have more control on the weight transfer with the adjustable coilovers in front . The sway bar tends to not allow the front end to come up at all. On the same note you don't want to unload the front too much hence adjustable front coilovers . Coilovers are not really required alot of guys do fine with stock setup

Mine always did ok my reg cab sucks because it's an open diff so the front end drags it out of the hole on a dig. I'm gonna do a spool and play with my rear shock locations.

Do you think no sway bar and rancho adjustable would be fine? Any thoughts on dropping to 2 leaves? I have no overload already leaving me with 4 springs at the moment. I wanna drop 2 more leaves and get drop keys and maybe take the front down just a hair more. I read the caltracs work better on mono leaves so I figure the less spring the better.
