Like the title says which to y'all prefer?? I currently have a RCLB but looking into an ECLB. I think the ex. cabs are more practical but I love me reg.cab

I had a RC/LB 2002 dmax and loved it until I got married and had a kid. The carseat and 2 people and it's full. Have a CC/SB now and 2 kids and will never go back to a regular cab. Love the room!!! It really is personal preference though.

I have 3 regular cabs. I guess you could say I like them :D

That being said, I'm also by myself 90% of the time.

I have a RCLB, with the gf and two labs in it.. its a interesting ride. I wasn't in the position to push for a EC truck but next truck will be one.

For the most part I love my rc. Every day driving it's only my kid and myself in it. The random times the wife comes along or when we take the boat to the lake I wish I had more cab space.

if the regular cabs had a few more inches of room it would suit me for 90% of the time

X2 ^^ I have 2 reg cab superdutys I use for plowing and love the extra cab room in comparison. The OBS GM's were designed for people under 6' it seems, that said my Reg cab GMC is just my toy / race truck, I DD a CC LML. The above said, If I didn't have kids I would be content driving a regular cab daily but I have 2 (kids) and that makes it tuff to go on family camping trips towing the boat having to take 2 vehicles. Although the idea of the kids in a separate vehicle and me riding solo with the boat in tow doesn't sound half bad either lol :)

TX of course
My personal truck is a CCSB and most of the time it's just me in it and love it. That being said I've had all 3 for a work truck and even though its just usually me I hate extended cab and regular cabs, but I haul a lot of stuff.

Extended cabs are worthless, you can't fit an average person comfortably so the back just ends up filling with junk.

I've noticed you've been posting again. Where you been? Glad to see you back around. :thumb: Are you going to start a thread about your toy/race truck? I'd like to see what you have going on. :woott:

Sorry for the OT posting.

I've got two ECSB trucks. Only CC for me from now on. I like the looks of RC trucks but can't justify one with a family.

Got burnt out, running my businesses, juggling family life with young kids and dumping money into a hobby that had no end in site lol.. Current view,-- business is good, only a few more months and my youngest is out of day care ($1,600) a month  and I really enjoy this hobby. This go round it's not my daily driver and I can work on it as time and money allows, so there no real stress involved.. I will start a build thread when I'm back in town and can get some good pics :beer

You guys must have gotten some decent work out if this last storm Jason, are you still primarily residential or doing clearing too?

We bounce back and forth a bit from residential to Commercial, we have made a good name locally in the residential sector and that keeps us busy year round with just word of mouth. Commercial work is were the money is though, but its so cut throat and political here in N.Y. I have really been scaling back simply because Im learning to value my time more then money and the kids are only little once! I'm Currently doing the Disney thing down in Florida but the guys tell me they have been busy back home with the wind and Ice as of recent. Hope all is well with you Tim.

Sorry in advance for the O.T.

I loved the room in my ccsb, but it was only a toy so I swapped corbin for the reg cab and love it. To me regular cab or crew cab there's no reason for an in between.
