Refresh or restall?

I will be putting an S480 with an 87mm turbine on the truck. (As a single) I've been told that a 1058 is loose enough to spool for drag racing. Just wanted to hear some other thoughts before I pull the trigger. I was originally going to have it taken out to 2600, but if that is not needed I wont. Thanks

I think you'll need more than 2600 stall

Your 1058 will not be loose enough

It will work fine. The 1058 lights my 475/87/.90 up in about 5 seconds. It stalls around 2400 and could be loosened up a bit more with tuning.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Would there be a down side to raising the stall just to be safe, other than the 200 extra bucks?
