RECON Lighting

Im about tired of my recon l.e.d. cab lights. I just noticed last night that my middle set of cab lights is half burnt out. I thought l.e.d. lights last almost forever? I've ran them only for a few years. I'm going to have to go back to the factory lights i guess. I already did with the cargo light and brake light due to it leaking and also burning out. I loved them when they worked. At least the factory ones never leaked!!!

My cabs lights have been good, I have had them on for about 2 years. Just recently I have noticed that the 3rd brake light is starting to leak. Pretty sure I can get her sealed up though.

Lucky you. I'm not even sure how long my back light worked before it started to screw up. I havent had the best of luck with my lights.

I did the recon third brake light, went to wash truck and headliner as soaked.. You can still see a bit of where the water was on it

I ended up running a bead of silicone around the light and then sticking it to the truck and tighten it down. Sucks, but no leaks.

On my Recon 3rd brakelight I ended up having to put silicone where the screws go through it. So far no leaks.

My cab lights started working again. Dunno what that was about, but whatever. Next time they screw up, they are gone!!!!!

imo recon and all leds suck...i had replaced everything with recon and i just recently went back after they all messed up within a month

I like my l.e.d.'s though and thats the sad thing. I love how they look. IMO if you have to spend over $100 for lights, they shouldnt be a crappy product. It seems everyone who has them is bitchin on how crappy they are. And I dont blame those people at all.

dont get me wrong i love the recons the price is steep but i dont mind paying it because they look awsome...but the quality for the price just isnt there anymore

I sell the stuff an I put stuff off eBay on mine except the tail lights bit third brake light and led light strip work great no leaks in a few years?? Didn't do anything to seal them either
