I am rebuilding the front end of my 2wd truck and had a couple questions. I already replaced pitman, idler arm & support and tie rods with Raybesto products.

Should I replace UCA or just do the ball joint?

Should I replace the camber bolts and plates?

Is it worth extra money for "nicer" sway bar end links?

It's not much more expensive to buy a complete UCA assy from RA if you're staying stock suspension. That's what I did and you are starting with all fresh parts.

My boss decided to cheap out on the UCA and just replaced the ball joint, about 1500 miles later the ball joint backed out going down the road! Luckily we didn't wreck but it sure made a believer out me. Always replace the whole assembly. The camber bolts/plates will be fine.
As far as end links go- my truck is leveled and snap one of the stock endlinks so i opted for the cognito ones designed for level trucks. IMO it would be more beneficial to replace the sway bar and endlinks as the stock bar leaves alot to be desired.

There's no reason for the ball joint to come out. There's a snap ring that holds it in place after you press it threw the control arm. I'd be looking at who didn't install it correctly.
