Reasonable price?

What's a reasonable price to get a roll pan painted? I made "semi partial" friends with an owner of a performance shop. Said he could get it done for me for $100. How does that fair on the deal spectrum? Good, fair, ok?
Also, I have an 05 gmc and want to get the chrome part of the front pumper painted to match... What do you guys think is reasonable on that?
Attached is a pic of the the front part.

Ok so Bryan paid <$100 and is satisfied and (sorry don't know your name) teabagger paid more and isn't satisfied... Soooo... I'm leaning towards the fact that $100 isn't bad as long as its good work. What about the front bumper? Do you guys think it should be cheaper? He mentioned that sand blasting the chrome off would be part of the price. But I can blast it off myself. So what's a reasonable quote for a mostly prepped bumper? There really isn't much material there. I plan on doing the uninstall/ sand blasting myself. Just to make it cheaper

Ok thanks guys. I'll go get it painted and install it this week. My bumper now is bent and ugly thanks to a hit and run. So a roll pan will be a nice upgrade. I may get the front bumper piece painted as well. Should look much better.

You will probably have to get a different hitch. My roll pan would not work with the stock hitch so i just ditched it.

The front lower plastic bumper valance may cost more to paint as they have to use some type of "elastic" additive so the paint will be more flexiable. I think $100 to paint a roll pan is fair, not really a smoking deal but certainly isn't a rip off.

Ok. I think I'm gonna take the pan there this week. Then take the front bumper there over the weekend. Guess I'll jut roll around town with no front bumper for a day or two lol

Pry be better to get them painted at the same time. That way you will get paint from the same batch. IDK if you care though so it obviously is up to you.

alot depends on your vehicle color, material of your roll pan, and quality of materials i usually charge 100 bucks for every PPG thing on a new steel rollpan

$100 is reasonable. That is what my painter quoted me for mine. I ended up just doing it myself as it was just a drag racing item.

price is good! consider prep, material, depending on what kinda paint hes using, and energy to run the booth. on a side note i would highly recommend selling the stock chrome bumper and replace it with plain steel w/primer. the paint doesn't stick to the chrome well, even tried grinding chrome off and rhino linings and still chipped.

Just do the prep work yourself and you may save a tad bit of money, I myself plastidipped my gmc chrome on the front bumper.used some 500 grit paper, then scotch bright pad on the whole thing, and then some acid etching primer and a few coats of plasti dip. Came out perfect!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335702275.807056.jpg
