Hi everyone
Is anyone using rear wheel spacers to correct trac width and more stability for towing. I just installed 2 inch spacers in rear and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the outcome!! Looks to me I'd be transferring more weight to the end of axles!! I'm maxed out with pin weight as it is. Any thoughts???
Thanks mike

I would feel a safer with steel spacer not aluminum, I just sent a pair of steel spacers back to the company that machined mine for a few changes we had agreed on before my order. The spacer's were 8-1/4" O.D. and the mounting surface of the wheel is 8-3/8". If you're not comfortable using them I have to agree with 04jimc, don't. Now I'm just waiting for the "900 million mile no problems yet" statements..

I have 900 million miles on my aluminum spacers. No problems yet.
But on a more serious note. If I towed more and especially if I towed at full weight and ran spacers they wouldn't be aluminum. I've heard that the aluminum ones crack

I've towed 35k with 2" aluminum rear spacers and no problems. Just buy quality pieces.

Reassuring to know spacer's and myriad of other add-on parts (or surrounding parts) only fail once at the most inopportune time and the results can sometimes be disastrous.....

I did purchase some Fred's spacer and sent them back. His directions stated to use locktite on the lugs holding the spacers and not to use an impact when removing the wheel..

I use Freds 2" spacers and my Raptor loaded is near 16'000.
