Rear leaf question!!!!!

I am wanting to get the rear suspension on my 08 lower, I do not want to pull the overload because I occasionally pull a small camper and boat. Is I possible to just remove a leaf or 2 and maintain my towing abilities? Thanks guys!

How low are you wanting to go? You could just put lowering shackles on it and keep all your leaf springs

I was about to update because I forgot to mention, I am already running 3" drop shackles. I'm wanting to drop it another 1" or 2 if possible. I have seen people remove the overload and a couple leafs but that would make towing impossible.

Remove the overload and one leaf and add airbags. Great ride plus towing ability.

I had thought about that, I was trying to avoid running air bags and pulling the overload. Did that on my dodge and had nothing but problems with bags. Maybe it's just my shi**y luck!

I run pacbrake bags and they've been great. And they've definitely been worked.

Could get a set of hangers to go with your shackles and keep all your springs,Will give you a couple inches while keeping towing capability.
