If you could have any car that you could realistically own, not some super expensive exotic car or super rare classic car, what would it be? Mine is somewhat rare, even though they were produced not even 10 years ago. I would like a 98+ Firebird Formula WS6. A 1LE car would be ideal, but I would settle for a stripped model as the 1LEs are pretty hard to come by. I found a really nice one that was posted for sale a couple of years ago, but the guy was asking $23,500 for it. I would just want it for a fun street car, do some autocross with, and drag race occasionally. I wouldn't do any crazy mods or anything. At the most, it would get heads and a cam. Here's a pic of the one I found for sale.

Corvette ZR1. 633hp (stock) SuperCharged 6.2L a race car with a license plate. Some guys are already pushing over 700rwhp. For 2010 the manuals are getting Launch Control so you can get the perfect launch every time. It can compete with any of the Euros for half the price. :cool2:

There's a couple:

GMC Syclone, mildly built, linked rear, yada yada yada

Cadillac CTS-V the one like Kat's with the slightly detune ZR1 engine, black.

2010 Camaro SS orange w/ white stripes, black leather, charger setup from above Caddy/Vette, lowered 2", yada yada yada

69 Camaro or a Nova II, black or deep blue, mild dmax, 4l85 w/ parallel twins, sport touring style susp and setup. :coolspot:

That's my list. If I can have one of those done right, that'd be awesome.

I know it's old school muscle but damn I want it. I have to wake up every morning and look at.
Love the 1st gen F-body. That's a good looking car. Is that your dad's?

 A few years ago I raced a beat up old Festiva that had swapped in some sort of turboed Mazda engine. It ran high 12s-low 13s in the 1/4. It was kind of a sleeper except for the turbo hanging out below the passenger's side headlight.

Ya, those are pretty sweet cars. What are they, $100k? What are the production numbers on those? I can't imagine what 700 HP in a 3k lb car would feel like!

That's a pretty sweet list! A Cadillac CTS-V like Kat's would also be on my short list of cars I would really like to own.

No it's my landlord/roomate's car. I live in the apartment in his shop. He has it in the shop right now because it wheel hopped and threw the back glass out. All it likes is a few more trim pieces and then it will be done. And one other thing is it's matching numbers.

$117 for the 'base' model. But good luck finding one for that. Last I heard they were limited to 2000 a year.
Dang, that's spendy. What's the Z06 go for these days, and what's the big differences besides the engine?

93-98 Toyota Supra Turbo
Those are some cool cars too. I've seen a few of those at the track running 10s.

I think they are $60k or so. 505hp 7.0L naturally aspirated and about 200lbs heavier then a ZR1. When you figure you can get 2 ZR1s for the price of 1 Ferrari and have the same performance, they're a pretty good deal.
