real touchy throttle

hey guys i have been running the current tune for atleast 5 months and about 3 months ago i made it my main dsp tune. it has been fine, but now with the warmer weather i have a couple issues. first it seems there is no feathering the throttle. taking off from a light seems to be a chore to take off smooth and not like i am racing:D. it is the biggest issue i am having, i cant seem to figure it out. i have tried adjusting the tbiq table and it made it seem like the throttle would just come on the same but a second later. so i put it back to where it was. then i compared the stock tbiq to mine and mine is actually lower or smoother when in that rpm range. not sure what else to try. i have a milage tune in my dsp and i have to switch it to that when trying to back up any incline or my driveway because the throttle is so sensetive it just barks the tires. my milage tune does not do this and it has a stock tbiq table, and mostly stock pulse table. any thoughts on what to look into???:(

my second issue is less concerning but something that jumped out at me replaying the logs. when coasting down 0% throttle say off an exit ramp, then sitting at a light it is commanding 15-20mm3 and it makes my pulse table looks like a landrover proving grounds. up/down/up/down. i range from 500-1000 us at idle. you guys see the same???

Copy & paste in your stock PW from 0 - 60 mm and maybe do a little smoothing for the transition area, I bet that will help.

Yeah having a stick truck makes the bouncy throttle even worse with no tq to absorbe it at low speeds, the only way i can fix it is by keeping PW stock below 150mpa and atleast 50mm3. then like Larry said you can do some minor blending to bring it up but dont go to far or youll be back to square 1!

in the buckeye state
here is another way to do it.
rows 10-50mm3 and collums from 600-1600
10,600 @ 5-6mm3
10,1600 @ 11-12mm3

30,600 @ 19-20mm
30,1600 @ 31mm3

50,600 @ 42mm3
50,1600 @50mm3

i would blend linear blend row 10mm form 600-1600 (shift+f12) or blue horizontal bidiractional arrow
do the same with row 30,600-30,1600 that row use the same button that you used for the 10mm3 row

do the same with the 50mm3 row

next i would highlight the said 10mm cells and the said 30mm3 cell all in on block shoud have a blue highligh areas of 6 cells wide and three rows.
use the veritcal linear blend button (shift+crtl+f12)

next
highlight the 30mm3 row and said rpm collums and row to include the 50mm row. and repeat what you just did above.

if this is still too touchly pull pulse width out of the main inj tables

IMO the throttle based INJ quantiy is for rough tuning main INJ PW is for fine tuning

hope that makes sense
or copy the said cells in this tune ;)
i did some more blending in the hight mm3/rpm cells as well could be smoother. but that would take all the fun out of it :p

thanks malibu, i will give it a whirl. yesterday for testing purposes put the tbiq in the top left corner back to stock and put the 30-40 mm3 rows back to stock in the main pulse. it got rid of the problem, so now i will smooth and follow your post. my think is why now and not in the last 6 months? very weird.

now my other question is have any of you tried the tcm j1939 tables in the ecm tune. it is can line messages that you can set to ignore or whatever. i set the tcm defuel to only to only be acknowledged by the ecm pver 2500 rpm but it still defuels like crazy all ranges have i done something wrong. it is a new table and not sure what esle has to be changed with it.
