rattle/squeak in steering column

I noticed a slight rattle in my steering column the other day. It only seems to make this sound when I'm turning and seems a little more pronounced when I'm on rougher roads. Anybody else heard of or have this problem? The truck still feels fine and steers like it should. It's just one of those little things that bugs the crap outta me.

I don't think it's the steering clunk that everyone has been dealing with but I'll check to make sure. It's not "clunking" at the moment. It's just a slight rattle for now but I did notice it first when I was turning to the left. I'll have to go check it out a little better when I get off of work.

Your intermediate shaft needs lubricating. Or you need to buy the new updated version. Mine does the same thing and has been for awhile now. I'm just to lazy to do something about it.

I've got the same problem. Bugs the shit out of me. Just haven't gotten around to fixing it.
