Found an EXCELLENT deal on a full ranch hand bumper. The guy says it's for an 07-13 but claims it was on his 06. Now I have a 2005 2500HD. He says if I buy the brackets for the 05 frame it will fit. Does anyone have any experience with these and know if there is any truth to this? Thanks in advanced!

Totally different body style. Look at the ranch hand website part numbers are way different. My lbs grill guard (ranchhand) would have never looked good on the LML I now have. I say he is full of it.

Call ranch hand.
It may be a case of different part numbers because the mounting kits are totally different but the bumper will work....
OR
He's full of it.

Call the company and/or ask the seller for pics installed on the 06.

That was my thoughts. I figured I give it a shot on here before I went through a hassle of calling a 1-800 number. I asked the guy of he had any pictures and he says he took it off as soon as he got the truck, which he could be just trying to make a sale. I'm hoping it's just the mounting hardware being different because like I said, it's a great deal. Thanks again!

When I bought my full replacement from Ranch Hand there were not any mounting brackets for the actual bumper itself. They did include brackets for the lights but when it comes to mounting it they used factory holes and supplied new hardware. I highly doubt it would work and I would go even further and say it will not work. If it did, Ranch Hand would offer it that way. Not to mention it will not follow your body lines if it was originally for a new body style.

the body lines is where I think it won't fit. Hell look at the picks from their website and see the difference in them. If it's with a grill guard It would not look good at all

I guess I more so thought of it just being a hunk of metal on the front of the truck rather than it matching body lines etc etc. Lol. Well damn, I guess I'll just have to continue the hunt. I want one, but am less than willing to shell out the 1300+ for one. Thanks for the help before I ended up with just a hunk of metal I'm just tripping over in my garage.
