LB7: Raising shift points

I shut off overdrive to pass someone this morning and revved my truck to 3800 RPM it actually felt like it had power up there


I was wondering is there any benefit shifting past 3200 with a stock turbo

If so what is safe for a stock motor

I've ran 3600 in my lly for lots of years

you may need to log it to make sure your still fueling normal and that the defuel is set to safe level

the only thing i saw with the LB7 turbo on raise shift points was high egts..

I would def raise past 3200 ,but not up to 3800 , with out a bigger turbo anyway. but def 3400-3600 if it feels good .

Yeah I didn't mean to go up to 3800 I just forgot to shut off O/D lockout:spit:
