Feels like Kentucky summer weather. Warm, raining, thunderclouds.

Drove to Costco to get work stuff in Wendy and got some fun time on the way.

It hadn't rained in months, so the road were super slick. A weasel in a Mercedes was playing with me (without much luck), and we came up to green light for a left turn. I pitched the truck nearly full-lock through the intersection in Official Fast-n-Furious drift style, and it was perfect. No wiggle, front tires stayed in my lane, and the ass-end just floated around perfectly for about 300', well down the road.

The MB driver must have soiled himself as he was right on my ass until Tokyo Drift Time. Then he backed WAY off. :D

These trucks drift so well, that I'm surprised nobody runs them in drift competitions. Hmmm...

Yeah, my girlfriend just hates to ride with me. Regardless of the weather.

Down here, we were hoping that the tropical storm hit here just for the rain. Most of the showers we have been getting have not been long enough for the road to get wet enough for having any fun.

Hmmm, makes me want to throw my truck around the drift course. There's a circle track about an hour and a half north that I guess has some drift stuff going on on site on a regular occasion, I bet they'd crap if they saw a diesel show up. Living in WA we get plenty of practice being sideways.

The LAST time my wife drove the truck she was taking our kids, and the rest of the neighborhood to school. She needed to drive the truck because her car was at the stealer for warranty, and I forgot and left the big tune running...oops.

She was making a left hand sweeper up hill the on-ramp and there was just enough rain to make the road black, not really wet, but not dry. Anyway this on-ramp really loads the truck nicely and before she straightened out the turbo lit off.....the back end was hanging out, black smoke in her wake, I just wish I could have seen the look on her face.

My daughter in the front was saying MOMMMMMM, and the 3 boys in back are saying CAN WE DO THAT AGAIN!:roflmao:

For some reason she does not like to drive my truck any more......
FWIW, I have showed her how to turn down the tune.

The nice thing about LB/CC's is that they really handle nicely when the back end is hanging out....until you really lose it on the ice and when that happens you are just about baggage until it all stops spinning. :D
