Ok so I'm using AN fittings for my tranny lines and the stock fittings on the radiator have the large washer on them to aid in securing the internal cooler against the tank If u remove the stock fittings and put the AN fittings instead the cooler assembly inside the radiator has nothing to secure it without the washer. What do u do to keep the cooler assembly from slapping around in the radiator tank.? Do u remove and use the washers off of the old fittings ?
Has no one else ran into this problem? I would think it will leak if it is not tight correct?

Can you post a picture of what your talking about? The factory fittings are sealed in with an o-ring, so the only washer I can figure is if you took the nuts off that hold teh cooler into the end tank. I'm running -10 AN lines for all of my trans lines, and they just threaded right into the radiator.

That's a completely different set-up than my 03-05 radiator has in it(it is a SPECTRA aftermarket replacement), and it is also completely different from my 01 radiator. Don't know what to tell you on that one as I've never seen one like it.

I called dts and they said to use hydraulic jic fittings. But I was able to remove the washer off the old fittings and get me to work on the AN fittings. We will see if it leaks.
