i currently run 4 trxus sts radials but with the new charger etc the truck just wont hook on the sandy loose tracks i pull on so i need to run duals in the rear to get anything going my question being no one has a 33x12.50-16 sts anywhere i've found plenty of the bias ones would it hurt me to run the 2 bias in the front and the 4 radials in the rear?

i had good luck with them last year on the same tracks when i had the stock charger and sticks on the truck i'd consistenly put 10+ ft on trucks running agressive mud tires i upped the hp of the truck and now i just blow the tires off it

Have you played with weight placement & air pressures?? We found that they hooked better than most in loose stuff (like horse arenas) if some different tactics were used. All the extra weight up front isn't always best. ;)

I've never been around anyone running the bias ply STSs but others have posted that they really sucked for some reason?

I was impressed by coreys boggers, but almost all of our tracks are either slimy or loose loam, so I bought Fierce Attitude 305s for this season. I'll run the sts on the clay tracks.

6-35" BFG all terrains will do the trick. The harder you spin them the better they bite it seems like. Look at almost all videos of "Off constantly" Thats what van and curt use. Cliff Carns from north eastern ohio runs them on his modd truck also. He says for the money they hook better than his cut pit bulls. Anything after the stock turbo you either need to run 4th gear if you can swing it or go to a bigger taller tire. try 4th gear with a converter unlock switch?

What are your thoughts about 2 bfg all terrains in front and the 4 sts's in rear? Or two sts's in front and 4 bfgs out back?

i just realized today looking through some of your pics Rich, that you guys are still running that dead sled. That has more to do with this equation than anything I think. tire choice for that sled is totally different than if you ran a transfer sled.

i'm a much bigger fan of rolling into it to maintain traction than hammering it off the line to pick up wheel speed.

If BFG's and STS's won't work I would look into Goodyear Duratracs. I seen a lot of the big trucks were using them last year.
