quick questions

so i tore apart the dash on my 01 lb7 doing some cleaning (so many sunflower seeds and bullets from the previous owner ) anyway i wanna pull the passenger airbag out but dont wanna set it off its a rc so i have the key switch on the dash off is that enough or do i need to do more ???


also is there a way to test the blowermotor mine works on all levels but just doesent blow very hard might be a blockage i will look into it but with over 200k might just be plain wore out let me know guys thanx

Yeah, your cabin filter is probably plugged.

As for the passenger air bag, as far as I can tell, you simply disconnect it, then remove it:
7. Access the IP module yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the main IP support by opening the glove box and pressing in on the sides. This will allow the glove box to extend beyond the stops and to fully open. The IP module connector will be attached to the main IP support.
8. Remove the CPA from the IP module yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the IP support.
9. Disconnect the IP module yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the IP support.
The CPA is Connector Position Assurance. I seem to recall their being a part of the plug that shorts the leads together when disconnected, but that might have been for my 2003.

thanx guys idk about the cabin filter i have the dash all tore apart and i cant see where a filter would go all i i see is the foam door to seprate inside air and outside air anybody got some pics of where they go??? thankx for any help
