I believe there is a difference from the lb7/lly to the lbz/lmm. I think its all in the way things are balanced.
IIRC, the LBZ+ has 4 large holes in it, and the LLY- has 3.
The harmonic balancer, same thing. LBZ+ has a 180 deg center weight, and the LLY- has a 90 deg center weight.
You can mix and match LB7 and LLY. You can mix and match LBZ and LMM. But all three pieces are a set. You CAN put the wrong ones on, they will fit, you'll just be out of balance.
