This probably silly question but will adding fuel in B0731 cranking injection help any in cold starting? Its gotten colder here and I've noticed my truck starting a lot harder than it ever used. Yesterday it was about 8* when i started it it ran rough like it was missing for 20 seconds or so. I know i need to check my glow plugs and intake heater relays, but it just got me wondering if adding fuel at colder temps would help in general.
Thanks
Justin

No, I had that table adjusted to puff smoke on startup, but it didnt help as far as starting any faster..........Check your batteries, when mine started getting tough to start, new batteries fixed the problem :)

It doesnt seem to have much trouble turning it over so i didnt think it was batteries. By the way it misses like that when its cold makes me think it might be glow plugs going bad or the relays. I was also told injectors but i dont have any of the other signs I checked balance rates and they were fine.

Do you plug your truck in at night? Its been pretty cold here and mines been starting hard and missing for a bit when I start it but plugging it in seems to help a little. And make sure your putting treated fuel into it. Most gas stations have already switched over but it doesn't hurt to check.

Check your glow plugs! I had some bad ones when winter started. Truck puffed white and missed as soon as it got cold out.

New plugs fixed it right up.
