I'm installing a fleece tapshifter right now. Was wondering if you have to drill a hole threw the firewall to run the wiring or is there a factory location you can slip it threw?

I usually feed everything through the big 2" rubber grommet to the right of the brake booster.
You could also find a flat spot to drill a hole and put in a grommet to keep the wires from slicing on the cut firewall if theres not enough room.

Thanks. I already have enough holes drilled in the firewall so I was trying to avoid that. Ill try and run it threw that grommet
Got everything hooked up. It was a PITA to get it threw that grommet but I got it done. Works great. Thanks for the help
Yeah it's pretty nice. Haven't played with it much yet. Just got to work but ill mess around with it once I get a chance.
I ordered it threw suncoast. I only ordered it because of the free tie rod sleeves. I don't need them but figured I could sell them to someone I know. So in the end I'd pay less for the tapshifter.
