I just put an AirDog II on my LMM and I also added an ISSPRO fuel pressure gauge. For the fuel pressure sensor I removed the bleeder screw and installed it there. Right out of the box the fuel pressure was around 7psi at idle and when I went WOT it went down to around 2psi. I adjusted the pressure regulator clockwise to increase it to the pressure to around 10psi at idle. The throttle response seemed to be worse. It still dropped down to about 5psi at WOT so I tried to drop the pressure at idle to around 5psi. Throttle response seemed to be ok but at WOT it almost had no fuel pressure.
Am I doing something wrong? I double checked all the airdog lines and its on correctly. Fuel filter is brand new as well. Maybe my expectations are a little high? It feels really sluggish with the pressure being higher. We did a kit on my friends LLY(with no gauge or messing with the FP adjustment) and the throttle response was a HUGE difference over stock. My truck has yet to feel that.
Its just has a turboback DPF delete 5" exhaust with an EFILive tune. I also just added a ported fuel rail fitting and PPE race valve and it still drops to 0psi at WOT. Is it where I am reading the pressure from?
