Question: Question regarding boost levels/parameters

Ok, I know you guys are going to love this one :coolspot:

On the stock charger, I always read do not go above 40 PSI (as I remember) as nothing will be gained due to the efficiency being down at that point of the charger's 'map'.

Here's my issue...
Is that not to exceed number of 40 psi read from my BOOST GAUGE (meaning ambient + added boost = 40 psi)...
OR
In my efilive tables do NOT exceed a commanded rate of 40 psi TOTAL (total boost NOT including ambient pressure).

If I've lost you; my question is...
Do not exceed 40psi on the GAUGE or on the TUNE?

Where I am if I command 45 psi on the TUNE my GAUGE shows 29.5 psi...
My ambient is 14.5 average.

I you want to go above 32 you will want to adjust vane posistion to see better gains
the stock vane tables make DP insane,Drive press gauge is nice to have.
