question about a ppe hot+2

bought a ppe hot+2 tuner used off ebay...i noticed that it only has

lvl1
lvl2
hot1
hot2

i thought these were supposed to have 10 lvls...pm'd dan@ppe but hasnt returned im sure hes busy and im not a paying customer so if anyone has any info let me know...should i call ppe and send it to them to get retuned or have i missed something?

i belive its old model doesnt look like the new ones at all..i only paid $195 for it so im not all that mad if i can send it in and get it redone i dont really care how much it costs

does it have a usb port on the side. It sound like the guy sold you a real old unit got pic. I have the prices for uprading but I think I would want my money back from the guy you got it from on ebay. if it listed 10 tunes like the Hot+2 ET has for 01-05 then 06-07 has 7 and 07.5 2010 has 6

Thats sure doesnt look like a Hot+2 to me. Looks like an older model Standard tuner.

well it was upgraded he said...i mean either way 195 was no big deal at all ...whats the price on upgrading this thing anyone know.....and once again thanks guys....sad part is this are some kick ass tunes on this ppe...i just want the lvl 10 for when the tranny is done

like i said i tried to contact dan but im sure hes busy as hell and he'll get back to me so i can hopefully send this thing back and get it programmed right hopefully

and no it doesnt have the usb for the side my old ppe did tho it was a standard it does have a sticker that says hot+2 upgrade along with a code on the back of the tuner...i can get it tomorrow if that helps you guys

That thing is old as hell. They did not even look like that when I started as a PPE dealer back around 4 years ago. It says right in the listing only 4 levels. Sorry to say but that thing can not be upgraded anymore atleast not that one. and it you had one like in the like I posted and it was a standard it would cost arond 300 to 500 to upgrade the newer ones.

I have the price list in front of me for upgrading all the PPE tuners and also what it costs to unlock one that has been vin locked and needs reloaded. If you have the one that is in the pic on ebay I dont think Dan can do much for you even.

Looks like the title might have not been correct as to the hot +2, but right in the ad it lists 4 power levels... 40, 90, 120, 160
