I can't find it anymore but did someone figure out how to override the low power output when in 4-lo? I know one of you geniuses on here did, and I would like to make sure mine never does it again. Thanks

Couple years ago they were doing it with just switches. Basically telling the ECM that it's in 4HI while the TCase was in 4Lo

The PPE Hot +2 + Van Aaken stack never defueled Blue in 4wd Low, and there was nothing "special" there.

Show me a datalog with the defueling in it.

Sorry about that, will update signature. 04.5 LLY and EFILive. So is there any way of overriding it besides, if I remember correctly, clipping a wire out of the transfer case. The truck does it, just want to get rid of it. Oh yeah, Malibu795 I pm'd you on the other site.

ZF6 Trucks do defuel in low range.

I just clipped the wire and spliced a toggle switch in the circut.

With the switch off the ECM always beleives it is in high range. :)

Do you think I would have to put in the toggle switch or would just cutting the wire be enough? Thanks, and oh yeah, what wire did you cut and splice?

LLY: Well, if you want to do at the ECM, it's the "middle" connector, the Gray/Black wire on PIN 7.

If you want to do it at the TCase, it depends if you are push button or manual.

I have the manual shift. I didn't want anymore electronic things in the truck than what I have to. haha So what route should I take?
